We have 550 miles on our custom-built Mocha. It’s been very nice riding rough pavement and gravel with it. The surprise was how well it works on pavement. I gave Alex our measurements and the fit was right when we picked it up. The DI-2 triple works well and a Garmin GPS shows the gear positions at all times. The TRP mechanical brakes work very well with the Ultegra brake/shifters. The 650b setup on our small frame has minimal toe overlap. The steering and handling are light and quick, which I’ve come to expect from CoMotion. The front boost thru-axle on the steel fork probably contributes to the good handling. We’re using 2 sets of 47 mm tires. the Terrene Elwood gravel work well in heavier, loose gravel and mount up tubeless okay. The Compass Switchback Pass (tubeless ready) work well on pavement, dirt, and light gravel, but only with tubes. They blew off the Cliffhanger rims, spraying sealant everywhere. The wheels are overbuilt for our team weight, and that’s just fine for our remote rides where a failure means spending a night in the woods. This bike has met all our expectations and Alex bent over backwards setting it up.
